Hey there! I’m Kara, a former Travel Nurse who now works as a Remote Utilization Review Nurse while traveling full-time out of a Truck Camper. After 5 years of bedside nursing, I began to realize that my work-life balance was leaving me feeling burnt out and mentally drained. There came a time in 2024 when I knew I needed a change, so I began applying to non-bedside roles that allowed me to work remotely! After months of applying to endless job postings with what seemed like minimal success, I had FINALLY secured a fully-remote nursing position.
Working remotely for the last year has allowed me to fully embrace the freedom of full-time travel while making time for my passions including Film and Digital photography. From discovering hidden gems off the beaten path to embarking on multi-night backpacking treks and finding unique, reasonably priced accommodations, these day-to-day adventures are what bring me joy after my workday!
Through this platform, I aim to provide insights that empower individuals working Monday to Friday jobs to recognize their potential in creating a lifestyle centered on freedom, one that enriches and fulfills them every single day!
Through my camera lens, I aim to capture the beauty of the West and my day to day nomadic lifestyle while living out of an Adventurer Truck Camper. With every day comes a new Adventure!
